From Monaco to Cannes, the gatherings that shape the season.
The Riviera lives to the rhythm of a succession of international gatherings that make Monaco and the French Riviera the annual stage of unique cosmopolitanism. Here is the calendar we follow.
April — Rolex Masters Monte-Carlo
First major gathering of the season: the Rolex Masters tournament (ATP Masters 1000) at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, mid-April. Clay courts, panoramic terraces overlooking the Mediterranean, world tennis elite. Peak hotel demand in Monaco — ideal booking 2 to 6 months ahead.
May — Cannes Film Festival & Monaco Grand Prix
May concentrates two highlights. The Cannes Film Festival (mid-May) transforms the Croisette into a global cinema stage. Carlton, Martinez, Majestic hotels full weeks ahead. Then the Monaco F1 Grand Prix (late May) — the most iconic race of the championship. Stands, Paddock Club, private terraces of SBM palaces.
June–August — Sporting Summer Festival
The Sporting Summer Festival in Monte-Carlo hosts international concerts and private evenings at the Salle des Étoiles, whose roof opens to the sky. Tables, hospitality, artist access — a calendar paced throughout the season.
July — Monte-Carlo International Jumping
Stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour. Show jumping with the bay and yachts in the background. Stands and VIP villages at Port Hercule.
September — Monaco Yacht Show
The Monaco Yacht Show is the world's largest luxury yachting trade show. Four days of in-port visits to the most beautiful units, partner evenings, model launches. SBM hotels full, local providers under pressure.
November — Rose Ball
The Rose Ball, organized by the Princess Grace Foundation, is the most iconic society event in Monaco. Salle des Étoiles, unique scenography each year. Tables by invitation or via partner network.
